I skimmed the other posts so not sure if you got your answer or not. Anyway I had the full K&N intake on my old taco and it deleted the resonator here is a pic I found online.

It add as much power as you'd expect it to haha but after having the thing for 10 years it got real annoying.

I believe I am literally the only one who has done this so far... but it would be cool as hell to be proved wrong! :D

Point of order here. It is a common mistake but, the hoses are made from Silicone. Silicone, with an "e" on the end. Polysiloxane is actually more correct. Look on a bottle of Rain-X, (which contains Silicone oil), nowhere will you find Silicone listed, but you will find Polysiloxane (Polydimethylsiloxane) listed.

Silicon is a brittle crystalline metalloid. A metal like substance, if you will. The base material of most integrated circuits is made from solid crystalline silicon.

Sorry, I'm a bit Anal Retentive, (OK, a lot), and I spent almost 20 years working in a Materials Engineering department. Next time I'll give you my dissertation on the term "glue". (That term is like fingernails on a chalk board to me.)

I know there's a difference but I mess it up all the time. I will edit the title as penance.

I have a LCE header and a CAI on my 2018 Access 2.7, this is a noticeable improvement in driveability, mpg and power. It's a lot more enjoyable to drive now, pulls hill and picks up speed easier. To me it feels like what it should have been in the first place. For about $600 worth of parts, it's well worth it. That said. I cannot figure out why these stupid fucks have to put this fly by wire shit on a vehicle, if it weren't for this crap, driving would be a lot more enjoyable and predictable! Give me a cable any day, it's almost like the auto manufacturers are educated beyond their intelligence!

Fly by wire by itself doesn't bother me- it's just as snappy as a cable but has a much longer wear cycle and saves space/ makes putting a TB in a more advantageous position easy.

What gets me is when they have to start "smoothing out" inputs. Your average driver can't control a throttle to save their life so it makes sense to heavily damp the inputs, but at the same time it makes for a frustrating driving experience.

It's one thing I have learned to live with, but if you gave me the opportunity to install a real direct 1:1 ratio throttle map I would do it in a heartbeat. Pedal commanders are stupid and just turn up the signal gain. I know how to press a pedal harder, I want the vehicle to react linearly.
