    I might be busy this weekend. Buddy's birthday this Saturday and I'll be at my garage Sunday with a friend helping him find out what's wrong with his car. Any weekend after that works for me

    what kinds of things are you wanting to weld? if you are willing to spend a bit, I'd recommend a GMAW/FCAW (MIG OR FLUX) welder. mig, you'd need gas, flux cored is optional..

    that little stick welder is pretty decent...just not great on thin stuff. it didn't like those cam tab gussets I put on.

    usually the colleges make you take multiple classes before getting into the welding ymmv. the local one does for me.
    youtube and practice honestly. theres a welding thread on here and people are always glad to give tips
