Hey guys! So I've been contemplating what to do with my audio for a couple months now. Been browsing threads and such and can not decide what to do. I've decided on the JL C2 650 and 650X for the front and rear as far as speakers go. Anyone have input for the difference in sound quality with HU replacement? I'm torn between a 4 channel amp to add power for the speakers while keeping the stock HU OR just replacing the head unit instead. Any info is appreciated :)

Replacing the head unit will be a pretty big change, but adding an amp will bring new life.

Add a radio for features, add an amp for sound

Hmm. So the sound quality itself wont change much between HU's? I like my stock HU honestly and dont feel like forking out extra cash just to keep my steering wheel controls hahaha

Speakers suck. Head unit sucks. Add a hu, amp, speakers and a sub. Do it. And sound deaden. Or not

The sound quality will definitely change. It will be noticeable. But if you're happy with the features, add an amp. It will cost less and get better sound.
