Good! Just pointing out that the market is smaller. Thousands of Pre-TSS, Millions of Post -TSS

Finally received mine from the Black Friday sale so 7 weeks from the order date which was expected. Packaging was by far the best I've ever seen. Shipping came by UPS with signature confirmation. I Installed today and overall happy with the fit and finish. I took others advice and lightly but snugly fastened the nuts to the screws. Thanks to bamf Jlee (Jeff) for making this grille.

@JLee Can I get a link to this video please? I live in a colder climate. I wanna rock the grille and would rather shore up the surround before install and not worry about the cracking. Did some looking and searching for the fiberglass application video to no avail. Probs just suck at searching...thanks!

This is the 3rd winter with mine and I've had 0 issues with cracking. It's all about how tight you make the bolts I think. It's been right at 0 degrees one day to 65 degrees the next over the past couple of weeks here in Missouri and no issues even with crappy roads and harsh vibrations at high speed. 35k miles with the grill now, just snug the bolts, I really think that's all you need to do which allow it to expand and contract. If you want to reinforce it, just get some fiberglass mesh and all and do the inside of the housing and you should be golden.

Just an update....I rear ended a 90 year old woman who just suddenly stopped in the driving lane for now reason yesterday. I hit her prob at 5mph or so and didn't break the bezel or hurt the grill at all. Pretty surprised because I thought it was definitely cracked before I got out. It wasn't a hard impact, but an impact none the less.

TRD.jpg Long thread and not sure if its been covered but can't you get touch up paint and paint the back plate for us before manufacture? I dont want to pop rivets to change color. My truck will be Calvary blue. Seems touch up paint should be the solution for new colors not available.

5100s/OME 888s. Dakar leaf pack. Total Chaos UCAs. DeMello Sliders. BAMF Recessed Grille. Prinsu Cabrack and Toprack.
Just my $.02 but I think they only do powdercoat. If they painted the back plates they would end up getting complaints from rock chips or peeling.

The only DIY mod I want is a BAMF grille compatible TSS tutorial.

I’m wondering if some cutlery and fabrication could allow us 18+ owners to use the pro grille garnish or similar to keep TSS functional.

    Where is @MESO

I can’t say any huge change. Normal CO weather. Just noticed recently. Garaged in Denver during winter

Bummer. I can’t say I’m “pissed”. Still love the grille. Bummed out for sure. Fortunately the crack “almost “ looks like it’s supposed to be there.

I had requested a video of how to stabilize with fiberglass long time ago but it was never made...
