Where did you go? I am due in February and have some concerns about my bumper.

I'm looking for recommendations on a bedside gun safe that allows quick access. Currently I have one of those holsters that goes between the mattress and box spring, but occasionally my friends kids come over and I have to remember to secure my gun. I'd like to just go ahead and get a safe now, and just negate the chance of an accident happening in case I forget. I've found a few for under $100, so let me know what you guys use. Currently looking at this but some of the reviews have me leery.

I don't have any input but I applaud you for being a responsible firearm owner. Some of the "storage" solutions I see people come up with just have me shaking my head.

Thanks Rob, I appreciate that. Better safe than sorry, that's for sure! I couldn't live with myself if my negligence caused someone to get seriously hurt or killed.

Exline Off-road on Fullerton Road. I work right down the road and it was kind of an emergency since my truck was expired. I can't recommend them for any actual work though.....they quoted $450 for an exhaust reroute while they were inspecting the truck.

I have had this one for years. Works great.

My only input is to stay away from biometric ones. Going off of the ability to unlock my iPhone with my thumb print being dependent on whether my hands are wet/dry, been working in the yard or on the truck, etc. I would avoid that.

That was my thought process as well. I decided I'm going to go with this one.

What really drew me to it was the RFID capability. Comes with RFID bracelets, stickers (that are commonly put on a cell phone) and a key fob. Also can be unlocked with the key pad or a regular style key. Uses AC power but also has a battery backup. Really checks all the boxes for me.

I'm going unless this storm moves in earlier than expected. I haven't been yet so I dont know much about sleepy creek. EST posted this link so it's in this area.

Going to bend the rules on my self imposed ban on posting truck hunt related things to say...... The hunt for the spruce unicorn has a few interesting prospects. Unicorn's not the right word. Narwhal. Yeah, Spruce Narwhal. I mean, they exist, but how fuckin' often do you see one?
