So I think we have found the truck for us. 2019 DCSB AT with tech and Premium package.

However I do not believe that it has the Truck Bed D rings.....my question is how hard are they to install on our own or should I see if they dealer can add them.

Still working on pricing....also I am assuming the bed cleats can be purchased separately as the one we are looking at does not have them.

Thanks and can't wait to get this home!

The "D"rings should be standard equipment.

    Ask the salesman.

If you purchase, make sure you get the 3rd key that is used for the glovebox and tailgate.

    Good luck with the purchase!

No tie downs in the bed? That's weird. My rail cleats were always stashed behind the back seat. Those are supposed to come with the truck. Id make sure that they are there on the final walk-around.

The "confusilator shows that the D'rings are a $55 option but will check and see when we look at it. Been dealing solely thru the internet right now so will ask tomorrow. This one also has mudguards on there but will take them off ASAP as I am pretty dang sure I will rip them off sooner rather than later. :)

Tell them to Rip em off and save the money. I was adamant that I wanted a stripped OR, no steps guards etc, mine still came w the cleats.

Mine was in a plastic bag in the storage bin under the back seat.

Seems about all they would be good for would be tying down a tarp or something.

Not sure if included new, but the cleats are inexpensive enough to purchase. They come up on here all the time.

D-rings I believe are standard. Easy to do though, I may even have a spare pair.

How much will you sell the flappers for?

I thought 2 D rings were standard, 2 (in front of bed) were optional?

Don’t pay for the plastic OEM rings, if they’re not included.

For about $40 you can put in 8 of your own t nuts, bolts and Drings on the bed assessory rail.

cleats and D rings came standard on my striped down OR Prem+tech. I use cleats to tie down dog crate, very useful.

I haven't seen anyone do that before. Much cleaner than the factory cleats.

A back step for when I get older, Carhartt seatcovers, 4Runner wheels, Topper, and "tats all folks"! --for now!!
The charging for the D-rings, the moveable Tie-downs and some other stuff must be a regional thing to charge/or not for. My 17 AC came with the D-rings (rear ones) and the moveable tiedowns (4) at no additional cost to me. My truck came through the Kansas City region. My truck sat in KC for a couple of weeks , even though nothing was added /taken off of it?
The thing that gets to me is that Toyota corporate lets some of these regional "CROOKS" steal from the end consumer of the truck, as these parts free some places and others not so!?

Not trying to hi-jack this thread, but I bought 2 extra D-rings to install in the front of my bed for a more secure point. Also bought the extra big star socket end. Those bed bolts are super tight -- anybody have a trick to break them loose?

Just soak in pb blaster. Make sure to take off the grooves on the bed bolts so the d ring will go between the bolt head and large washer.

Slide a piece of metal pipe over it to give it more torque like a long breaker bar.

From 2019 Tacoma Brochure: "Deck rail system with four adjustable tie-down cleats and four fixed cargo bed tie-down points" It comes standard on all models of Tacomas. Good luck with getting a killer deal for the Tacoma!
