    Here is the maf flange and airflow straightener.

    The reservoir will have the inlet on the right side and the outlet is on the bottom.
    The various weld on barbs will be used for the reservoir and vacuum ports since the inlet part of the factory sc with the vacuum barbs will be removed.

    Any of you guys ever use the borla or magnaflow dual/dual mufflers? I’m considering replacing my x pipe with one of those. In the unlikely scenario I do get popped I’d like them to not know about everything else on my car.

    Even before the new law. Not a single time. It’s only enforceable if the cop is bored and you’re a douchebag. I suspect this is just a law to hit the late night sideshow idiots that close off streets to “swing it”.

    Gotcha.....I was under the impression cops would be out pretty much pulling everyone over with a loud exhaust. Idiot or not. If it’s loud your screwed.....

    The good news is I drove it almost 100 miles this morning. The bad news is we had several inches of snow yesterday and last night, so I wasn't able to play much. Initial observation is V2 does improve throttle response, but I'm not sure I felt/saw much else. (I'm not knocking it but, IMO, changes seem more evolutionary than revolutionary.)

    They have better things to do honestly. Well I mean, it’s not like attention seeking teenager loud. But for a Lexus of this era it’s very loud. And that in itself might draw attention. On a crowded city street you wouldn’t even hear it. Cruising home late at night might draw attention.

    I’m loving the commitment to your approach Roost. I just relocated my intercooler reservoir to the passengers side as well. Also moved the intercooler pump to the passengers side of the bumper. On a side note, found out the intercooler pump has a standard Bosch ev1 connector like the fuel injectors, so I was able to buy a connector kit with loose pins and cable seals to extend the wires without an extra set of butt connectors. Plus it has a water resistant cover and spring loaded retainer, which is way nicer than the plastic retainer clips that I broke.

    Me and my buddy were just talking about the law here at work.....about how we assume it is for you guys. He’s got a wrx with a few tasteful mods including an exhaust. His car is done right not cheap and not stupid. Then there is my truck with my exhaust which is not quiet by any means. We were thinking cops were all out....even messing with people from outta state. I guess not though so that’s good to know.

    Sideshows a big thing over there?

    Not saying it’s the reason but there was an incident here awhile back that shut down one of our bridges. Some group of kids looking for their IG fame decided to do doughnuts on our bridge during rush hour. One car broke a diff and the cops showed up. Between all the paper work and waiting for the tow truck I think my 40 minute drive turned into 4 hours.

    I just ordered them for $7. Great find!

    I think I am going to route both coolant lines to the passenger side and also rotate the fmic 180° so the lines come out the passenger side. I will of course have to relocate the mounting brackets to fit it in correctly.
    I plan on my secondary injection pump, reservoir, and catch can to go in the same general area of where you put your catch can.

    If it is the reason I don’t blame them. Sideshows are getting out of hand. There was another time where some car club got a meet together. Whole city was flooded with mustangs, camaros, chargers, whatever. Burnouts on every block.

    Anyways I think the borla dual/dual could work for me. It’s gigantic and has an x pipe built in. 19x4x9.5. Just need to get my car running first and see how loud it is.
