I just purchased a set of headlights from McCabe Customs (great guy to work with and does incredible work if you ever need anything done at a reasonable price) and I now have a front and rear mounted halo wired into my turn signals since they have a switchback function. I installed a dtrl setup on my truck before I had the halos but when I'm driving the halos will only stay orange due to the dtrl. If I take the dtrl setup back out and install my original flasher I have no front turn signals but I do have a rear turn signal. Any ideas on how to get it to where I have a turn signal with the OEM flasher so I can run my halos any color I want while I'm driving?? Getting super frustrated at this point. Thanks in advance!

If you took the DTRL set out and just installed the original flasher, did you also install the jumper?

I don't remember having a jumper that went with the oem flasher it just had the flasher. To install the dtrl i just had to pull out the flasher and add the jumper for the dtrl. I might have a jumper but im almost positive I didnt have one. What does the factory jumper look like if there is one?

Gray...if you removed the DTRL harness, it goes in the "rear" of where the harness was. One side of the harness goes to where the regular flasher inserts, the other to the jumper slot and the last one to the DTRL Flasher...

Are you talking about the grey flasher relay? I have that plugged in to where the jumper from the dtrl plugged in. I just put the grey box back into its original position on the back of the fuse box

Okay so basically, in simple terms, there are two blocks that need to be plugged in? One is the flasher which I currently have plugged in, in its correct spot. And another that needs to be plugged in where the lower plug on the supper was? I do not have anything to plug into the lower plug

I might have. I don't remember taking one off or anything and I'm very organized so I would have put it with the flasher relay. But there is always a chance I misplaced it and forgot about it

If I did misplace it and can't find it, any idea on where I can get one?

The jumper only really joins 2 pairs. Slots 1 & 2 and 11 & 12. You could use a solid copper DIY jumper, (old phone line type) and insert to see if it achieves your Halo requirements, then search for the missing/misplaced jumper.

I will attempt that in the morning because I am on the east coast and its freezing, raining, and late but I will definitely give that a shot! Thanks! I'll post back on here tomorrow to if it works or not

I found the jumper exactlly where I had grabbed the flasher from I cant believe I didn't notice it but, that fixed it and now everything is fully functional. Thanks again!
