Whos running 18s in the rear, leaf sprung? Looking for some info on how the bypass needs to be mounted and how far above the bed it will have to go.

Your probably going to be above the bed 4 to 6 inches I'd guess. Mounting outside the frame rail your going to need offset wheels or spacers.

Running a tundra rear end, guess I should have mentioned that also. The couple guys I’ve seen running an 18 have angeled them backwards, I was wondering what the reason for that is

Ooh okay yes a tundra axle will give you more room. I have my tundra axle sitting next to my house just need the new leaf perches welded onto it. When it comes to forward/rear mounting someone else will have to chime in

With those you will end up about 2/4” inches above bedline. Depends how much angle you lean them and where you set them on the axle, set them of course in front of axle and no more than 15 degrees at bump. You have to take apart leafs and cycle it. Mine are 16” and bolt is bedline with 10 degrees foward at bump with 17.75 travel

And i have tundra axle too shocks outside the frame with 35s at full articulation they just kiss the shock a bit no wheel spacers

Isn’t less angle better for the shock since I don’t need any angle to compensate for shock travel?

Yeah straight is fine too i mean if you were wanting to lean them forward dont go more than 15degrees. Mine are leaned forward and they still work perfectly fine.Tons of people are the same way. What leafs will you use?

The only thing about f67 is that they cycled 17.75 sure , but when all assembled with shocks the leafs didnt want to droop all the way like 2” short. I had to go to e30 to get all the travel. 4” not needed at all!

So I might have to go a little higher than 2-4” above the bed line so I don’t end up strapping them too short.

Gotcha, I plan on going with e30 or something similar eventually. I bought these a couple years ago used, they have a fresh rearch on them from deaver as well as new bushings. I was planning on going with 16s but I found these for a decent price, I would’ve paid $300 less for the used set of older fox 2.5s I was planning on going with. These are brand new and the look doesn’t bother me so I went with it.

E30s are same length right? So all I would have to do is swap them out when it comes time.

You may be able to barter those 18's for some nice 16's

For what reason? Going above the bed line isn’t a big deal to me like it seems to be for others.
