In your original post, I saw that you used a T fitting to join the horizontal and vertical pipes. When I was buying fittings and saw the Y one, my thought was that it would help keep washer fluid going to the pump better so I tried that. Too bad it doesn't fit in the truck tho and caused the washer pump to hang way too low. I was thinking rubber cushioned clamps would be great, just need to get some 3" ones to fit around the pipes.

 

Looking for some input for my buddy just bought an 02. I noticed fluid in the driver side wheel well when checking it out. Looks like it might be from one of these caps (vent caps?). Possibly just an overfill of power steering fluid? Looks like that is where the lines go. I've been trying to search but not finding anything so far.

 

thats the diff and transfer case breathers. Not anything to worry about.

Anyone have a propane tank in their setup? Im getting tried of buying those green cans and was think a small propane like 2 gallon would be cool. Anyone got suggestions?

 

Can’t catch a break. Tons of play in the new steering rack’s bushings. Looks like somehow one of the bushings got pinched weird on install.

Energy suspension bushings on the way, should’ve done it before installing the rack.

 

Plugs and wires yesterday. Broke the boot off in cylinder #1, that was fun.
Timing belt and water pump getting done tomorrow 87600 miles!

 

What’re you powering, a stove? They sell converter hoses to go from the portable tank to the standard tank flange.

I just bought an 11lb tank. The 5lb is as small as I would go. Under that some of manufacturing and production stuff is different and a lot of propane refiles wont touch them.
I only plan on running a grill with mine. People have said the 5lb tank gets you like 3ish days of cooking on a tank. I didn't want to have to refill that often so i opted for the 11lb tank

 

I just put a 20lb in a milk crate with some bungee cords and run a hose to heater. I like Coleman stuff. This was a garage sale find, all for 80 bucks. Stoves worth more than that by itself.

 

I've got that exact one, It's killer. Runs forever on a 20lb bottle.
