They're 11x1.5? Weirdo size, the VG makes you torque al 13 of the big bolts four times. Actually made my triceps hurt haha

Yea. 11x1.5 is Toyota’s normal headbolt size. Supras have that size too and we see how much those can handle.

Huh, I guess I didn't really notice on the 3RZ. That has ten bolts for that one head but even then the 3RZ head is the weak point not the fastening. 8 head bolts seems common for v6, it's what the Z32 went with. Of course those don't hold boost as well as the Z31 for a number of reasons but they start with a good deal more HP anyway

from talks with my regional rep (worked directly with TRD when the 5vz Dash engine were being built), apparently the 5vz heads seem to handle power very well. he said hed be surprised if i blew my engine even at 1000hp with what i have (a bad tune could kill it. but were talking if everythings good on that end) Do i plan on 1000? not for a long time.. hell it'll be just a supercharger for a while.

I have this Geocache in front of my house I placed years ago, and I noticed there was this dad and his daughters looking for it. After I helped them find it, the dad asked about the Model 3 parked in my driveway.

Turns out he’s the lead supervisor for the Model 3 body assembly line in the Fremont plant. Told me some cool stories about working there while his daughters were standing idly by bored as hell, haha.

It’s a worldwide scavenger hunt. I was really into it back in 2013-2015. I have like 50 finds, some people have as much as 40,000.

Don’t play much at all anymore. I just maintain the two of my caches that are still around. I had four, one got stolen or thrown away, and the other one I took down because they were building a new neighborhood.

Brake cleaner has Acetone and other solvents which dissolve or damage plastic.

Looking for a full set of skids - wanted Relentless but they aren't currently making skids due to tons of bumper orders (ahem 2nd and 3rd gen bumpers haha). I can get a full set of Skid Row skids shipped for $750. Not sure whether any other options could be out there and the BAMF group buy doesn't seem like it's got enough momentum to reach 30 anymore.
