More kids need to learn some basic stuff like this. Knowing how to check tire press, change oil, change a flat, etc. It's sad how reliant people have become on others to "fix" their issues with stuff rather than roll up their sleeves and do it themselves.

Went and picked my truck up from the towing yard today and drove it to the house. If anyone know of a good body shop in the raleigh area let me know. I need to get an estimate before the adjuster comes to estimate the cost of the damages. I've also contemplated canceling my insurance claim and putting a flatbed on it.

Seeing all those Miata's, especially that snailed out red one, has me in nostalgia mode. I sure do miss my Rx7, but that damn thing was a coffin on wheels.

Yezzir, I picked her up back in 2006 with ~50K miles, bone stock, original everything and a gleaming ass clean title. Then I went full on mad scientist.

    Mods were as follows:
    Half-bridge port with Cryo seals
Custom I/C, piping and exhaust system
GT40R snail with dual 38mm wastegates dumping open atmosphere
Apex'i power fc commander and AVC-R
    HKS twin power ignition amplifier
    Optima yellow top
    Mazdaspeed 4.44 gears
    Cusco 2-way LSD @ 100% lock
    Mickey T ET streets

Initial tune produced 568RHWP and 417lb-ft on 19psi and Q16 (IIRC is an oxygenated ver. of C16)

    *edit: correction 547RWHP, my bad.

Technically yes, I suppose. That pic was from a Grand-Am event at VIR back when I was interning with ROAR Racing (Rx8's). The PB bunnies in the photo were super chill and down to earth. Now that I think about it, I honestly think that they hung out/spent more time with us than anywhere else that weekend.

They are all over the import scene. It's crazy. Go to Waterfest sometime. Probably would of been better to go not married though. Playboy is a lot bigger as far as "models" go than the magazine.
I miss my old projects. Man I really miss the old turbo days they were fun.

Yes...yes indeed. That is sound advice! Not only are there PB models, but models from other groups, etc. floating around at events like these. Hell, there are even random cuties walking around too.

Ahhh, the good ol days my friend. As soon as the humidity would go back to hell on the horse it rode in on and the temp hit about 55 and below, you would begin to hear a cacophony of the distinctive mating calls of forced induction.

Shit I ran mine all yr round. It didn't matter rain or shine hot or cold. I had money to win and feelings to hurt. I'll mess with something again like that someday. I do have a 92 240 Se coupe that just needs some TLC and a bonded title (lost the damn signed title)

If it's still around don't ever tangle with an '81 Toyota corolla. It's got a nasty 3 rotor under the hood and is a legit 9 sec car. It has sent many home crying to mommy how their mustang or camaro couldn't beat this little import.
