I live in CA and I am getting my Taco's windows tinted tomorrow. I am going for the all black look so I want to do the windows dark. I know the front ones are not legal to do here, but does anyone else have there's done? I am wondering if cops actually inforce the rule if they are a light or medium tint on the front windows?

I'm sure, like anywhere else, if the cops want to pull you over for it (or need an excuse to pull you over), they will. And as I'm sure you know, the darker they are, the more likely you are to catch shit for it. It does look good though :)

Where I live you can have your fronts at 27% and it is legal..
I have mine at 18% and have never been asked.
But windshield tint gets noticed a lot...I don't have my windshield tinted.

I have my truck all limo and yes they do get upset in cali about that. I did some work on my brothers jag that lives there and he received three or four tickets for the tint. If i remember right you can just pay a fine each time you get cought and keep it tinted dark. Its your call.
