Time to upgrade to a plate bumper. These guys are local to me, reasonably priced, and making a darn good looking bumper, imo. Anyone have any input about these? I'd probably go tubeless.

I have one going on my truck tomorrow. So far so good with the bumper. It would go on today if I didn’t have to figure out the light bar. FYI, Cali raised does NOT fit. Too short. My fault. Oh well.

Good luck! Post pics once you get it installed. Did you go with bare metal or powdercoated?

I went bare metal since I didn’t want to have different variations of powder coat. I’m going with the victory front, BAMF Sliders, and I think a relentless rear. my local powder coat guy has been great getting most of my stuff done in about a week.

Finally got it on. Took a while to bring myself to cut but once I had a plan and got going it was smooth. I know you’re a second gen but if the second gen is even close to the quality of a 3rd gen you won’t be disappointed.

I`m planning on getting one with the Tube on it, I like the looks, but I love the littleness of it, most I seen cost a lot but also weigh 50 to 75LBS more without a winch.

    Hey @monkeyevil
    Couple questions for you sir.

1)How is the install on this for the 2nd gens? Is it the same cutting process as the video for the 3rd gen?
2)Will this work with the trd/magnuson supercharger with the coolant pump up front?
3)Do you still have the 15% off sale.

    1) No bumper cutting on the second gens.
    2) Have pictures of where that pump goes?
    3) No, but the code "TacomaWorld" will save you some cash.

We also are working on a slight refresh on our 2nd gen bumper... here is the teaser photo:

Ooooh, that bumper looks nice. Do you have a release date on that? Are you going to set up a group buy for launch? I’m liking it a lot.

    Pump is circled in red.

The release should be within a month for sure. A short group buy is likely. I think the pump will fit with the bumper NP, but a winch will be an issue.

Okay great! Count me in on that group buy. The bumper looks great. Looking forward to it.

Are you at Victory 4x4 planning on a bed protector bumper? For 3rd gens that is.

Yes, working out the design now. Will included optional modular swingouts that can be added later.

Is the old model no longer available, and if it is, for how long?

I like your logo but at the price of a BD light bar I don’t want any shadows.
