Final rendition I think... for now... Think Stevie is the way to go.

had to go out last night and get a full ish moon... forgot that one the other night...

 

I love it!

 

Started roughing out the cage for the scepter MWC mount. The plan is to make a dual can mount for the water, painted Blue, and a second for fuel, painted Red. makes it easier to explain to someone else which can to grab. instead of confusing them with Single handle is for water, and triple handles are for fuel.



leaving a bit of room so the cans can expand a bit, hopefully it works out as I expect it to. once the top and bottom hoops are on it should also pull it in a bit tighter as well.



Once the cage is done, I will add a mounting tab to go up top the front deck rail header, that I just added. and As of right now I plan on using a cable threaded under the handles to prevent WSCS( Wandering Scepter Can Syndrome).




The top of the cans should end up just about flush with the bed.




Due to the space and the risk of theft or vandalism, these will most likely not stay in place all time.

Are You gonna add any Rubber or Foam so as to not Rub thru?

Gourd High Elasticity Foam Seal Tape, Self Adhesive, All-Climate Auto and Marine Weatherstrip, 80" x 1/4" x 1-1/2"

3M high density foam tape

 

Should do the trick.

 

I was there briefly. I thought i saw you driving but couldnt tell. My truck is all chopped up now and half ass "de-chromed" lol you can recognize me by the camper though
