If you can come out to Plano, on a Sunday I can do it, but it’s probably a drive.

    Funny...

Just come to Tyler and I can show you what you need to do to properly wash your truck and detail the inside.

Nope, nope, nope... last place you want to go is the dealership to have them do it... that is how you get those sexy paint swirls, armor all on the interior, the same rag cleaning the wheels to clean the fenders. The guys that wash the cars do it as quickly as possible and just do to make it look nice when you come test drive it.

However, the people that clean up the trade ins are normally brought in and are an outside company to do the interior corrections and they go from dealership to dealership as needed.

Taking your vehicle to the dealership is the worst thing you can do in all honesty. All they use are fillers to make the care look "pretty". After one rain storm, its back to show all the swirls and issues.

Yeah like i said the guys that take the trade ins and clean them up. Not the guys that run your car through the car wash after a service....
honestly i just want them to clean the shit out of the interior, engine, and underside. The rest is just some water and a brush, no small nooks and crannies to get into. The exterior paint condition im not too much worried about... i drive my truck down motorcycle trails. Trees have done all kinds of things to my paint! haha My truck needs a full paint restoration, which is not something i would not pay the dealership to do. Nor do i think i even want to have it done. I mean im just going to drive it through more trees anyway right...

I’m not 100% positive, but I think Allpro acquired Trail-Gear last year. So the sliders may be the same as the Allpro sliders. I have Allpro sliders and love them. I just replaced the old ones I got back in 2010 and installed the Allpro Apex sliders.

The few reviews I've read most people are just welding them on as opposed to bolting them on. Any issues with the pinch welds on the bottom?

I had to notch the pinch weld areas where the legs were. I cut slits with a cutting disc on a grinder, then bent it back with pliers and a hammer striking a piece of wood to get it all the way back. I originally intended on having them welded and bolted, but never got around to the welding part. Now I’m glad because I removed them this past weekend. They have saved me many times from damaging the body. I have the ones with a kick-out, and it saved my body from a large boulder I was going around in Colorado and misjudged how close I was. With all the hits they have taken, there is not one dent on them. I just hit it with a rattle can from time to time.

Sweet thanks for the input. I didn't see a kick out version on their website.

Well... it was in 2010 when I bought mine. It’s was through the Allpro website. I think it was the original version, which has been updated with an improved design I suppose.
    Good luck!
