Dude, it was unreal. Especially because on the day to day, they were the ideal of suburbia. Like "Stepford Wives" level perfect and serene, church going model citizens.

lol I bet...seems that usually the most normal looking people on the outside have the weirdest personal habits or routines when in private

Oh totally. I have this theory where everyone has the same level of "freaky" in them. It's just up to you to decide the ratio of public/private that it shows up in.

It's sort of interesting that the couple decided not to keep the door locked to their sex dungeon, but then again...maybe that's part of their game. See who finds out and wants to join in :notsure:

I'd prob have been down, but I suspect she was the Dom and I wasn't about to have that scene from Shameless happen to me.

Plus, how might one bring that up... "sooooooo...I was snooping around your house, and I found your sex dungeon...I'm in!"

LOL I know that scene of which you speak

yeah that would be a weird topic to bring up, but then again they are the ones with the sex dungeon that they left unlocked so, I imagine they wouldn't make it awkward if it was brought up.

I'd probably say something like 'So, we should hang out sometime and maybe chill in the basement' and see how they react lol.

    Caution wall of text incoming:

When I was growing up Colorado my family moved to a quiet middle class neighborhood. When we first moved in the house next to us had a family that included mom dad older sister and brother my younger sisters age. They eventually moved out and other people bought the house. They were all band members and they modeled themselves after ICP (insane clown posse). There were at one time as many as ten people living there. They totally trashed the house. If I even was sent over there for anything, I could smell the place long before I got to the door. A nice mix of weed and rotten food. They also had a dog. It was a huge yellow lab she was super sweet but barked constantly and was very neglected. The other strange thing was that one of the band members and his girlfriend lived in the garage with their new born baby. We had some wicked cold winters the years they lived there so I don’t know how they did it. We had to call the cops on them multiple times for domestic violence issues. There were also times the cops were there without us calling them. Once one of the people who stayed there brought his dog (not the yellow lab I mentioned earlier) It was rather aggressive, and it jumped the fence and went straight for my little brothers. I heard them screaming and crying and came outside to them cornered with my dog between them and the other dog. I brought my brothers in and went out back with a baseball bat, but the dog had jumped back over the fence. Our dog we later discovered had multiple deep puncture wounds from the other dog that required surgery. They paid for some of it but not all. We told them that if that dog was ever back again, we would call animal control and if it ever was in our yard again, we would kill it. I don’t know how we could have killed it because the only weapon we owned at the time was that baseball bat. But it worked, the dog was never seen again.

Not too long after that they all left. I'm not sure if the house was foreclosed on or if they sold it but it had to be completely gutted and remodeled before anyone moved in. Someone bought it and decided to rent it out we didn’t have many problems with it after that. A family moved in and were fine but eventually moved out when the rent got too high. Soon after that someone else bought the house. A Mom and Dad and a kid the same age as my youngest brother probably 6 or 7 years old. One day I got off the bus from school and walked up to my house find the police in my driveway. Full bullet proof vests, rifles and all. Apparently, the Dad had been involved with child pornography. I don’t recall if he was making it or watching it but still really bad either way. My brother had been over there many times to play with the son but according to him the Dad never touched him or anything. They moved out and it sat empty for a long time again now it has been remodeled again and is now a halfway house much to my parents’ chagrin. I swear they cannot catch a break with that place.

tl/dr: House next door to my parents has had a rockband, attack dog and child pornographer in it to date. Now is a halfway house.

So i spent about 9 years in the Army being married most of that time..i've had the crazy neighbor that yells and fights with her husband at all hours of the night because she didn't believe he was actually working a 24 hr shift ( Staff duty since he worked at the Battalion) and since he was lower enlisted he was getting the 24 hr shift a lot..I lived across the street from a stripper one time ( on base housing was the best for stories) her husband walked literally to every house within sight just to make sure the guy living there knew he was built like an Oak Tree, was big into MMA ( fighting not watching) and could be home within minutes ( oh for note she had a stripper pole in their garage also she left the door open when she practiced) the girl was actually really nice and when asked to at least "practice" after 8pm she would, but the guy everytime he got home from the field would sit on the front porch drinking Jack and coke and would eventually walk to every house and find out what she had been doing the whole time he was gone ( shes about a 7 so cute enough and loved ink, the dragon was my personal fav)...another time we were the crazy neighbors ( the ex wife was) we rented a house off post and we lived on the corner so the kids next door would walk across the grass ( looking back it was hilarious because i could care less it wasn't my house) my ex would scream and yell and go to the parents and tell them about what the kids were doing, the parents laughed and closed the door each time and i laughed because i was never home to see it and worked all the time..i got out of the Army got a divorce and moved into an apartment of my own and lived upstairs, my neighbor was one of those " the girl everyone wishes they had for a neighbor because she was actually kinda cute" and because she was single we hung out and had dinner once and awhile, fast forward about 6 months we have newbies move in under her apartment that we helped move a bed and a dresser for, mistakes were made by that little gesture, so the new girl has a boyfriend that just got out of jail ( nothing to bad) but i still keep an eye out since you never really know, so the boyfriend brings his cousin over who just got out of a female prison for a felony, you ask why the details, well over the course of the next 1 year the cops get called 6 times on the same apartment, 14 police reports were filed for theft in the complex, the female felon starts to get a crush on me and when i start dating a girl she decided it was a good idea to pound on the door at 2am,3,am, and 4am like she was the police everyday for 8 straight days, after me and the girl i was dating argued for a week about everything she left never called or answered my call and the felon girl stalked my apartment until the day i moved out leaving notes on my truck, carved her initials into my door, and tried to have me evicted..now i live in house on the edge of the road and plenty of space between me and the neighbor...whose next

This thread is great. I have two stories for it.

The neighborhood I grew up in was brand new when we moved in and we were one of maybe two families that didn't have super young kids (I was 12) The other two guys that were my age became my really good friends and we were always walking to eachothers' houses to hang out. Never late at night though. It was at least once a week where some random neighbor would approach one of us walking, especially if there was more than one of us, asking "who are you, what are you up to, do you live here" in condescending tones. The best one was a guy approached me and asked me if i lived there and by that time my family had been there for 5 years. He lived in a newer part of the development that was less than a year old. I said "Yeah i've been here for 5 years how about you?" He just looked at me and asked where I was going and I told him if he had a problem with me walking to my friend's house to call the cops. Never saw him again.

The other one was when I got my driver's license and was again one of three teenage drivers in the neighborhood. There was a 4 way stop in the center of the development that literally no one would actually stop at. Letters went out from the association about it multiple times but it never had an effect. One neighbor then decided it was us three teenage drivers whom were the only ones blowing the stop sign and made a point to come to each of our houses to warn us there would be a cop watching it from now on. Fast forward to next week and sure enough an officer was planted a little ways back from the intersection watching. He handed out 20 tickets that day- but none of us got one, it was all the soccer moms/dads not paying attention.

@Slashaar... after 2 dealings with the cops over supposed drugs in my place ( never even smoked weed) and a broken back glass window on my truck everyone ( apartment managers and cops) started to believe me and the cops finally found her sitting in the woods while she would watch me leave ( this dumbass wore a bright pink jacket to sit in the woods and spy)....i finally got through to them when i asked one of the cops if i could call just to tell them i was leaving and they could swing by if they could, they were eating lunch down the street so they said "sure" just as they pulled up she was walking out of the bushes..she got 2 counts of aggrivated assault and 1 count of harassment.. small towns are the best..all in all she had to spend the next 4 years in jail because on top of what she did to me she was doing the same to another guy down the road, also this was he 2nd strike...3rd time and shes toast, i just gotta move further away before she gets out....

It's not common sense, it's not caring.

I posted earlier my neighbors I rolled up the street on Saturday letting their dog shit on my lawn. Neither had a bag or anything else to clean it up. Killer is the other side of the street is the town recycle center, so the dog could go on that side easily. They said "oh it will wash away with the snow" and I asked if it wasn't a law that they're supposed to clean up after their dog. Then "oh we'll come back and clean it"..oh no problem, I just happen to have a bag in my truck..here you go!

    I just got new neighbors...
Come home from work to find a white spaniel (dog) all wound up in MY dogs runner and the trees and can't move anywhere.
My dogs runner isn't your average runner, it's straight up aircraft cable.
The only dog that knows this runner and all my giant oak trees is My dog.

Thanks neighbors:thumbsup: I appreciate you coming on to private property and almost killing another neighbors dog.:bananadead::bananadead::bananadead:

The real sad part is that they own a sheperd.

This is true. I wonder, however, if it will have been worth it to have most of his front lawn resodded in the spring and have spent the better part of a day collecting all the insulation from the neighborhood. I would say not.

Back in the sixties in South Florida we had our Dog that was barking one night. (Raccoons tearing up trash cans) Neighbor 3 houses down called the house and told my Dad if he did not shut our Dog up that he was going to come down and whip my Dad's ass. Dad told him to come on down. When the neighbor got there Dad beat his ass and closed the door. :rofl:My Dad loved Dogs more than any Man I have ever met. He also loved to Fight ......RIP Dad.

Alright I’ve got a few from my days growing up. Let’s call this jackass neighbor fat Eddy. So my family moves into a house in a small neighborhood called Tara in 1993. Bought a house at the end of the street on a cul de sac. Only house there to start. Other houses of course get built. We get the pleasure of fat eddy moving in behind us. Of course they have about 5 full size dogs that never shut up. My dad worked nights from 8 at night to 6am. So the dogs would bark in the backyard all day non stop. He politely asked if he would quiet the dogs, fat eddy did nothing. But fat eddy put the dogs in his house at night so he could sleep. So my dad got one of those high frequency dog whistles and Cleverly disguised it in a bird house in the backyard and it was my job to plug it in at night when fat eddy brought his dogs inside. They would bark all night in the house. He got rid of the dogs a few weeks later. Don’t ever think he figured out the bird house trick. Several spats happened between our family and his. He had a couple methhead daughters who always had a bunch of criminal boyfriends hanging around. One of them threatened my little sister, he got thrown in jail. After hurricane Ike fat eddy decided he wanted a new privacy fence. He asked my dad if he would pay for half and my dad would pay for the other half. My dad of course said go fuck yourself. We leave to Wisconsin for a family vacation and we come back and see half a brand new fence and half torn down. The fence withstood hurricane Ike. Nothing wrong with it. My mom calls a land surveyor and we find out that the fence that separated the houses was on our property so me and my dad go and get the plywood we had on our windows for hurricane Ike and some spray paint and we wrote out in big letters across about 10 sheets of plywood “how do you like this fence cocksucker?” We prop it up with some 2x4s and secure it in place. The sheriffs department is promptly called and they tell us to cover it up and we said no, it’s on our property if they don’t like it tough shit. That plywood fence stood for about 3 years with me touching up the paint every now and then. I’ve got tons of stories about fat eddy and his methhead daughter.
