Skiing was great this morning! I think we did 3 runs before we saw anyone else on a trail, and the first 3 we did were the first three on each trail we hit. Snow was fresh groomed, nice and soft and the woods were deep enough to cruise in and out a bit.

    Now it's raining :(

Had a red 3rd gen access cab park next to me...any of you guys?

Saw some guy about to hike up the mountain and thought "hey this guy is crazy like @DrFunker and asked him about it quickly ...was it you?:anonymous:

How do you like Berkshire East? Never been, but hear lots of good things.
I've mostly skied JP(500+ days in the past 12 yrs) Bosquet, and a bit of catamount and Butternut in the berkshires.

It's not that big, but I love it. I'm not some super pro skier, but they are much more relaxed and way less crowded than Jiminy which is my other option. They usually have pretty good snow there too. Most of the people I have gotten to come with me have ended up really liking it by the end of the day. Give it a shot sometime!

Deff bigger than bosquet and they keep pumping money and modernizing it.

Not even joking, as soon as I clicked on this thread the rain started coming down even harder. :bananadead::bananadead:

I was hoping to get a brake in the rain so I could shovel some areas I have held off on. My thoughts were "Hey I can be lazy right now and only do half the shoveling and then the rain will melt the rest" Turns out it's going to rain right up until everything freezes and gets even worse....

So now I gotta shovel in the rain today:frusty::help:

Just got back from a little romp in the woods.
Cold but not unbearable at all. Was very pleasant actually.
The base is solid, the snow on top is very light.
Another good dump and much :bananadance:will be had.

Been holding off on a groom so it doesn't firm up too much on top before the weekend. Gonna get it tomorrow morning, excited to see how it turns out, the base on the trails from previous compaction is a rock right now. Got 7 inches total maybe with the storm +squalls.
