Well, I had just reinstalled Destiny 2 on my PC and Xbone and was going to give it another go. I left when my Deluxe edition ran out and I would have had to buy Forsaken to keep going. I had nobody to play with and it was getting a bit repetetive playing the same stuff all by lonesome so I quit out. I was going to go back and see what some of the newer content was like and try to find a group to play with but if the consensus is that I'm still going to be solo queueing and struggling to find Raid/NF groups on LFG then I don't think I'm going to bother..

Shit... Wish I knew you had GT. I play it a lot. For a while I was 16th in the world on the gold challenge on the Nurburgring with the BMW that you can't change any settings.

We still play every once in a while. I love that game.

Me and a buddy of mine race identical cars set up exactly the same way so it is pure skill that wins the race.

    Case in point

And my run that got me 16th in the world on the Nurburgring. I've no idea where I stand now but I'm sure I've dropped out of the top 100

I wouldn't even bother. Back in Sept. I would have told you something completely different since the game hit an all time high. But they completely dropped everything that was good about that expansion in favor of mini updates that are timegated and offer sub par rewards for completing them.

That's what got me thinking to get back into it was that I was hearing that the new content was really good. I mean, I played through D1 since vanilla and everything. Most of what killed it for me was the lack of people to play with. The content was secondary, I suppose.

D1 got off to a rocky start no doubt. But I gave it the benefit of the doubt because I could see potential in the game. When they released Prison of Elders I almost quit but the only reason I didn't is because they introduced Trials of Osiris. Then TTK came out and the game became amazing. RoI was a great expansion and WotM was a worthy raid.

Then they released D2 and wiped the slate clean of everything that was good in Destiny. They released the game unfinished because Bungie didn't want to lose their stock options if the game didn't release when Activision said it should be released. So it took a year for D2 to finally come up with a complete game when Forsaken came out. Forsaken was one of the best expansions that Bungie ever created. But with TBA they completely threw it all away for a shit expansion that offers rewards that are some of the worst rewards the game has ever seen. Add to that, no new strikes, and they completely removed Trials? What's the fucking use?

As far as people to play with. I'm sure you can still join a 100.io group and find some people still playing the content. Just don't expect it to last very long. My clan that I started has dropped off tremendously and the only person that is posting raids can't complete them. Those of us that could... don't play anymore.

I'm stuck in Warframe now and it's everything that Destiny should have been and more. Once Anthem comes out I hope it is a Destiny killer and as it stands right now... if they play their cards right, it will be.

I understand. I paid for it also. But I chose not to play it because it sucks balls IMO. $35 lost isn't that big of a deal to me to not be completely pissed off at a company that has consistently underperformed. But I can promise that I'll never spend another dime on this shit game.

I’m still playing usually every day. Either gambit or iron banner. I can take the same level 500 strike after the first ten plus times. Nightfall I can’t do solo yet if ever.

Just got over 550 finally. Probably won’t ever make it much past that though.

I have it and haven’t played it in a bit. Been getting used to the newer format with it and the predominant PVP environment for it.

This is one run I made that I felt good about. Thinknit was a license test or something. Hit the brakes late around the 1:21 mark but still managed to keep a decent line.

The 911 RSR is my baby though. There isn't much out there that can compete with it in its class. Same track you ran.

I've run that track well over 10000 times since Project Gotham II came out on the original Xbox. I know every little nuance of that track. The Nurburgring and Spa (sadly it isn't in GT yet) are my favorite tracks.

Do you run auto or manual trans? I generally run auto in multi car races but manual in single car races

I think if I had a full set up I’d give you a run for the money. With a controller. No way in hell I’d keep up

It helps to not be a bitter streamer. :p

I only really like invading on gambit. Like I’ve said before I play it for fun not a job. Destiny has always been the same grind. So it’s nothing new.

Warframe seems waaaaay to involved for me. Looks really good but I don’t need a game that also requires hours of homework.

Red dead was awesome but the online kind of sucks.

I’m looking forward to anthem though.

Auto since I only play with a controller. I've thought about buying a steering wheel but I've played with a controller for so long that I think I would suffer with a wheel. I can modulate the throttle and brakes easy with the controller and it's just what I'm used too. ABS off and Stability Control at its lowest setting for the fastest track times.

I like running manual with the controller when I’m not trying to compete with the computer or other players. I like it so I can get a feel for shit points, RPM’s and how it handles when downshifting and braking into corners.

    True.

As far as Warframe goes... you really have to WANT to play this game. It certainly doesn't hold your hand by any means but it also doesn't insult you by telling you everything you need to do. It's a true MMO and I like that personally.
