Ive been doing some reading and ive seen people blending qd's with sio2 stuff, etc and car wash foam soaps with zipwax/jaxwax etc etc.

    Who is blending? why? results?

I have to be honest, I don’t know what you are talking about lol

I am not familiar with the names of the products you list.

    Can you rephrase?

Sio2 and qds sound like drugs XD.

    Ahhh.

I do not mix products like that.
#1 they can interfere with eachother bonding to the paint
    #2 its not necessary.

Now I have layered products, like on black cars to sealer with a wax over it to give it a better appearance.

Mixing doesn’t seem worth it to me. I’m concerned it will hurt the life of what I put on.

Lots of those AG guys just like playing around with products. For example... they like product A, but it's not slick enough... so they add a little bit of B to make it slicker. But I agree, not necessary.

Valid. The most popular blend is the CG V07 and sonax bsd. Both excellent on their own.

I definitely want to try beadmaker though to see what that is all about. I just ran out of aquawax.

Hmmm, now let's see. A bunch of back yard scientists mixing chemicals to get better results than trained chemists in a controlled laboratory environment. Yea, that's got "winner" tattooed all over it. Nope. Not for me.

Beadmaker is great if you're washing the car a couple of time a month or so and are able to use it as a detail spray. It does have great slickness and gloss considering the cost per gallon compared to other sprays. Since you mentioned BSD, here is an interesting comparison a few spray products:

Yep I blend Carpro detailing products. Carpro brand heard of people mixing Carpro Echo and Reload. This stuff has Sio2 in it, basically it can be anything depending on the dilution ratio. Detail spray, rinseless/waterless wash, clay bar lube etc.

They actually ended up making a new formula for Sema 2018 because of its popularity; Carpro Elixir.

As long as You have a concentrate of those products And some distilled water go to town on dilution ratios. Your paint is not gonna fall off...
