Not really “machinery”, but I found an old Pulaski head and restored it for @Drainbung. If I remember correctly, the markings indicated it being from the 50s. Cool thread!

This is a pic of machine serial number 3, that sits in our main lobby at work (Cincinnati Machine aka Cincinnati Milacron aka MAG aka Fives). I think it was built before 1890.

This sits in the aisle of the employee entrance at our sister facility in Fond du Lac Wisconsin (Fives Giddings & Lewis). The pic says it’s early 1900’s vintage. The pic was taken back in 2013, and it’s sits in the same place still today.

Without too much effort, both of these machines could be put back into service.

At first sight I thought this was an old tire changing machine, then realized it was a drill press. Lol I should have read the story about the post first.

I agree. Old tools are super cool!

The guys that just dropped off our gantry crane at work had an old electrical motor on the gooseneck they were hauling away for a different business. You should have seen the thing. Looked like 1950s or 60. Big as a volkswagen. 480V 5000W motor. Must have weighted 6000 pounds.

Just bought a relatively modest old Wilton vice for my new garage.

    A thing or two...
What's up with the masking tape in the 2nd picture?

At that point, you may as well just make a YouTube channel.
