I went with icon rear springs. IIRC in config 2 it gave me just under 3". I need to add the 3rd leaf to raise the rear so it sits level when I carry a load. With no load it sits level now.

I went with Icon RXT in config 1. Hub center to wheel well is 24", not sure how much lift but it rides real nice. Set my Kings to 1 click in the rear.

Awesome. How much weight do you run in your bed at baseline? What Kings are you running? I’m running the 121As in the rear and 119As in the front with the J66 leafpack. I’m getting a new shell/camper (GFC) and need to upgrade my leaf pack. King recommended just swapping out the shafts for 2 in longer ones. Do you have any advice or thoughts on what they had to offer?

    Thanks!

I have a full King setup in the rear, Total Chaos shock relocation brackets, custom Deaver springs and King Bump stops.

I have the King piggyback’s. Don’t recall the exact part number. They use the Total Chaos Shock relocates.

I have an RTT, full skids, sliders and stell plated bumpers, spare tire and two 5 gallon gas cans. When I’m loaded, the back squats a bit. I’m probably going to upgrade to the III’s.

Ok, so I have a question. I have read this whole thread and thought I had my answer, but then kept reading and then realized that I dont have my answer because someone had a different answer a few posts later. So here is my question:

I have a 2016 Tacoma with Dakar EL096R leaf packs and the EL46XL AAL in the rear paired with Bilstein 5100 extended shocks. This is my daily driver so most of the time I have no load, but when I go camping, I have a RTT and load the bed up. I have recently acquired a brand new set of King OEM Performance Series Rear Shocks #25001-121. Will these work? There is some confusion for me as I cant clearly tell if the extended version of these shocks only have a longer rod end or if the shaft is actually longer also. Will I need to get bump stops? Do I need to find a wall to bang my head against? I am actually surprised that I haven't found anyone with this exact set up on their truck for me to ask questions to. This is a great thread with lots of great information, I have learned a lot over the past couple of days as I have been reading it. Any help would be much appreciated.

@xxmagpulxx I went with Extended rear set, initially when I made my order it was for the standard set, however when I called Downsouth Motorsports to confirm my order, they asked about my rear lift, when I told them Inwas going with the EL096R, they told me what I wanted to get was the Extended King Rear Set. Can’t remember the details on it, but you can give them a call, pretty sure they can help you out.

You gained around 3” from swapping 600-700 king coils?

I’m scheduled to swap my king coils tomorrow.

Oh ok. That makes more sense. I have a ton of preload on my 600s. We will see tomorrow when It gets swapped out to 700s.

I wish someone would come up with a concept similar to this but for lifting a truck.....things would be so much easier, youre not messing with travel, but able to adjust the length of the shock for ride height, and still have the ability to pre-load springs. I have these for my Civic and LOVE them.

What UCA's would you recommend that require little to no more service then factory? I may take the leap and get them so I can go w/the ext in front. I'm just worried about finding a shop that knows how to align them & service them.

    No bushings=no frequent lubing

Go with Icon billets or Camburg billets. I’ve had mine for over 35k miles and haven’t lubricated them once. The manufacturer actually recommends not using any lubricants.

At the end of the day everybody will give you a mixed bag of feedback-most UCAs require some attention here and there
SPCs are most similar to stock-not everyone knows how to adjust them for alignment though-cost effective
My favorite for long term hassle free is ICON Billets-they have the heim ends and can be ordered with the Delta Joint. PTFE spray the heim ends and push the old grease out of the Delta Joint every so often(Icon says every 3000 miles--but you make the call) or the tubular version with Delta Joints, just maintain the poly bushing grease once in a while.

I run TC with heim uppers. PTFE the uniball and heim joints -very reliable set up, uniballs typically more prone to elements though.
