Question about 13 Tacoma light issue

    Why when the lights are on make the back brake lights stay on and why when the lights are off would the interior and fog lights go on every time I step on the brake pedal?

    I can't figure it out. I recently tried to hook up a simple trailer light harness and that's when it all started. I disconnected it to see if it would it but it didn't. I've checked the fuses and a few other things to no avail.

    Maybe, but i don't think it could have since it was a simple easy unplug and plug into a splitter to connect the two. I'm not really sure where to check now.
