Hmm, almost sounds like the drive shaft is out of balance. Have you tried the dealership to see if they can diagnose it?

Yeah definitely. I’d guess about 1.5-2”. Here’s a pic of the back of each of them so you can kind of compare the two.

Finally finished installing my hydraulic bumpstop kit from locked off road. Paired it with a u bolt flip kit that has a striker pad similar to Icon's striker plate. Just followed the instructions for Total Chaos brackets for mounting the King OEM Reservoirs. Cycled the suspension with one leaf to ensure it doesn't smack a bolt. Appears to cycle just fine but a gopro mounted on a shakedown run tomorrow will tell for sure. Also added a shock boot to the rear oem kings. I know I know I know that they retain water and so on. However, I am more concerned with the pock marks on the shock shaft as this shock sits in front of the axle. The king 3d printed shaft protectors are too costly at the moment. I drive about 2k miles a year so more worried about trail damage than puddles. Also, California. Will inspect often to see what happens. So far so happy with Locked Off Road, @TacomaGuy23

I have 5100's on this truck with the 2.5" eibachs, a 3/8 spacer driver's side and 1/4 on the passenger side. 5100's are set at 0 and it rides really well. I had the 5100's with the 1.5" 620pound Eibachs and the struts set at .85 on my other Tacoma and it rode rough. No spacers on them

Finished my homemade bed cover today. 1/2 inch pvc sheeting ( 4' x 8' sheets at HD $70 each) takes 2 cut to fit, reinforced underneath, piano hinged in middle, hinge and edges sealed with rubber strips attached with alum strips screwed over the rubber strips, painted with Rustolum truck bed paint. Pop & Lock tailgate lock ordered. Does not leak like my hard cover did on my old Tundra.
    Answers to questions:
    - framed underneath with 3/4 x 4 inch pvc framing board attached with
    pvc pipe glue and screws.
    - 4 1" aluminum stripes across for increased rigidity.
    - sets on bed rail and used these bed rail slot nuts found on Amazon
to attach cover with bolts and wing nuts. Toyota has the best bed rail.
These rail slot nuts are great.
    - Total material cost about $300.

Started my truck today. -30F air temps from this polar vortex in Minnesota froze up the fuel system this week and I couldn't get it started Wednesday or Thursday. First time this truck has let me down, but she's getting a pass given the circumstances. Finally warmed up enough to thaw out a bit today and she roared back to life. Looking at +40F over the weekend now. Quite a weather change!
