I posted the most tame photo I could find of the movie. I should have posted another. The thread name might be different.

That's two threads I've named now! I am such a bad influence. Just don't tell the CFO it was me. I'll deny it. :bananadead:

It really is literally the exact same 4Runner I had. Does it have cross bars n the roof rack?
In not you can get them on Ebay relatively cheap. Cheaper than the dealer.

They make a very sexy roof rack for that model that is like the one on the FJ. All tube and complete coverage. It is not cheap though. But it looks very nice.

I had my roof basket on mine and I liked it up there. This one.

I’ll look into them because mine doesn’t have cross bars. Cfo has agreed to let me spend the money I get back from truck parts so I’ll have a little bit of mod money. Just need to figure out the best ones for the money I will have.

One of my favorite bands' last album has a song titled, "In walks Barbarella." The music's not for everyone, but its the first thing I thought of..

Well, if you have to have a roof rack/basket and don't want to spend a lot of money, and are interested in the Thule Canyon let me know. I will definitely sell it to you a lot cheaper than most people want for them. And I also have that waterproof cargo carrier that fits perfectly, and a spider net that keeps it all tight and from flapping in the wind if it's not full.

I think you might have me beat B! Of course I am basing it solely on cup size, so the real pig in me is coming out now.

I may be interested in the bag and net but I think I may go diy rack. Might make one of those unistrut style racks and use the factory holes. Like the style of the flat/low profile racks on the 4Runners.

So what's the plan? OME lift, Aluminum slim-line, skids, and sliders?

Yea, not sure how the factory holes are on there. I added the cross bars myself and that was easy enough. I was literally thinking $150 for all of it. But the Thule basket is not that low profile so if you have a height clearance go with your gut! It is removable without tools though so that makes it convenient. Oh and what about the rear cargo basket and fold up draw bar. I bet I could make you a pretty good deal out of all of it!!!!

On another note, I should take some pics of this stuff and list it on the B/S/T thread with the rest of the stuff I have for sale.

    Yessir! Barb is all mine!

Not that I don’t want the height I just wanted to run maybe a Plano and some maxtrax up there so I would need a flatter style rack.

Definitely a lift. Then depending on what kind of money I’m looking at then it could go to bumper or skids or I could make some sort of rack system so I can carry a Plano and maxtrax up top.

Lift will be OME springs and bilstein shocks.

Cool Cool Cool. This one would be able to handle that but you would have to add the extension to it. It adds 20" to the overall length.

Thule 8591XT black roof mount cargo basket extenion https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01D6311JG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_GpqwCbREC5HXQ

Although there are probably cheaper options.
