I'm playing the wait-and-see game with CBI for 2 bumpers that I ordered back near the end of June. An estimated completion date (which has since elapsed) was given back when the order had been first submitted, which I happily accepted with a grain of salt.

I understand that there is an apparent influx of orders causing product to slowly trickle out of shipping, but what's troubling is the lack of feedback regarding projected completion dates. I'm trying to comprehend how a business allegedly lacks the capacity to project their manufacturing output unless there is a legit unknown variable. And if this is the case, why is this left a big secret? Is communication such a liability that the less details conveyed to the customer all that beneficial? Am I off course here?

Did this ever get resolved? I am 5 months in on my wait for sliders and they are doing the same thing. Might add a write up to vendor reviews.

I found the CBI Instagram account person to be pretty helpful. He didn't speed up the process but he was helpful providing updates and helping with other issues I had.

I don’t know what happened but when I ordered my sliders not too long ago the told me 4 weeks and 4 weeks later they showed up. I have to say the fitment is very nice and they seem bomb proof. Definitely quality stuff

I'm thinking it's just the bumpers that are taking forever. Glad you are happy with your sliders. Have you been using them?

I haven’t high centered off a rock cliff yet but the kick out helped get me out of a few tight squeezes around some trees without bed side damage. I’m looking at their new bed racks but they are steel and I live near the ocean so I really need aluminum for corrosion resistance and to keep weight down. The steel sliders are heavy enough. Too bad aluminum ain’t worth a damn for sliders. I’m sure your bumpers will be worth the wait

My Bumpers are already on :) The wait was worth it. There's a ton of options for bed racks fabricators. Just not sure who makes aluminum. I have the bed mounts from CBI for my RTT.

Those are nice. I’m looking at kb voodoo and Leitner Designs for bed racks at the moment. Leitner Designs is sick. But KB voodoo offers a kit that can turn a short rack into a tall rack so I can have a small rack for daily/weekend use then convert to a tall rack for an over the cab mount for an Alucab hard shell RTT. At least that is the plan for now
