I have a Pioneer Avh-2330nex. I have the microbypass bypass for the parking brake. I wired the green wire to the Pioneer green (parking brake) wire, tied the black into the black, and the blue to the blue/white of the Pioneer according to the instructions.

It doesn't work. I still can't get Android Auto to work (message to engage the brake), and the menu options are still limited. Am I missing something?

Have you tried just grounding your parking brake wire and eliminating the bypass? I just installed my w4400nex and kept getting the parking brake warning (with the parking brake applied and truck not even started). I ran a jumper wire for the green parking brake wire out my glove box, turned on my radio, went to sync android auto, got the message and literally just touched the wire to a ground point and done. Message went away, I set it all up and have been good since.

This is the problem with parking brake bypasses and pioneers. They have designed their parking take trigger to not work with bypasses. This is because you must trigger the parking brake, then RELEASE it, then trigger it again, within a few seconds.

The brake bypasses cannot release their trigger, this preventing things like android auto and playing a DVD from working preopelry.

As for directly grounding the parking brake wire, this will cause essentially the same problem, as well as prevent dvd playback if and when you want it. Because again, the radio wants to see the brake released and then triggered again.
