    Looking hard at this Steelcraft bumper for my '14 DC SB......mfg says it weighs

    245#.......plus the winch weight of course....will/should I expect to beef up OEM

    coils.....or what ? Currently have Bilstein 5100's set on 3rd notch......advise please

    You'll want a higher spring rate such as the 886 OME coils.

    The coils will do the lifting so drop the shock clip back down to the lowest.

    You'll want a .25" top plate spacer on the drivers side to correct the 'taco lean' your factory coils are rated for.

    Yikes. 245lbs?? + winch. You may have your heart set on that bumper but there are vendors on this site that have tons of choices in bumpers that weigh half of what that one does. Just a thought.
