    He is using a tc style pump from psc it was a kit made for the 4.0 that isn't made anymore. However you can buy the psc tc style pump and pulley and you will have a stronger pump.

    All that is needed is some shims (forget the thickness) for mounting. I'll. Have to find the pulley I got buy a few people have fit a dodge viper pulley to it. (that's the pulley in 2nd picture but it requires a longer belt)
    Also requires adapter fittings if you want to keep factory lines

    Thanks for those pictures! So looks like the TC style pump bolts up and instead of shims you could also make a spacer just for the pulley to align with the belt?

    Still have 2 questions:
    1) This pulley trail gear sells they say is for the Toyota 4.0 looks like a 6 rib pulley. Don't we have a 7rib v belt type of thing? I don't wanna deal with belt conversions...

    2) how much PSI does the factory pump put out? Is 1600psi going to overwhelm factory lines and blow seals in the OEM steering rack?

    You will need to put a spacer in the upper mounting point. And may need to adjust where the pulley sits on the pump shaft.
    As for question 1 yes trail gears is a 6 rib pulley which means you would run a 6 rib belt and all the other pulleys will have and extra rib (make sure the belt rides the same ribs on every pulley).
    Question 2 is like 1200 psi I believe and there is a guy running a 1650psi pump on factory rack and he replaces seals like every other year. He also jumps his truck out west.

    If you're interested I have two of the pumps that RST sells for their SAS. Again you have to make your own bracket and run a longer belt. But I have the bracket I made and can give you the number off the belt. RST sells them for $400 i believe. I'll sell them for $250 a piece.
