For the amount of fasteners it seems you have. I think those would be ideal.

The HF tool box seems to be the best quality product they offer. However, I bought a $14 angle grinder when I didn't have access to my good one and that thing refuses to die. I still use it constantly and it keeps on going. Maybe china isn't as bad as they say. Haha

This thread has (obviously) given me reason to reconsider HF stuff, some of it anyway. Mucho thanks to the OP for creating it! Very useful.

As far as the fastener storage... I used to build pole barns for a living, and everything was constantly on the move. No stationary storage in the shop. So, those hand-carry storage boxes made a lot of sense back then. Now that I'm an old fck, all my shit stays in the garage, so yes, one of those roll-around dealies would be ideal. But, I just realized as I was typing... why the fck do I still have all these fasteners. What, am I gonna take up building full time again? Nogonnahappen. So, that's a whole different subject and thread... how the fck do you part ways with shit that *has* been so valuable? I'm a damn pack rat apparently.

It's definitely hard. I moved from a house with a huge garage to an apartment then across the country. I had to sell or give away my welders, milling machine, drill press, tool boxes, etc. I hated doing it but moving across country with thousands of lbs of tools and supplies would have cost way too much. It was nice always having nuts and bolts at your disposal and random pieces of metal to use to fabricate parts. But now, I just have to go buy what I need when I need it. More of a pain but doable. I move around too much these days to amass what I used to have. You definitely accumulate a lot when you have a decent sized garage. Now I rent a one car and it solves my accumulation problem, for the most part.

Not a bad way of doing it. It is a Waterloo, roller bearing slides. Almost enough storage and the price was definitely right...$0!

Bottom is from 1976 and has the Bicentennial/Limited Edition sticker on it. Top is a 1975 but I'm having the Bicentennial stripe made for it anyways.

Added a flip up side table to my HF rolling cart. Excellent addition, bolts right up. Tempted to add one to the other side as well, instead of the handle.
