I like Lake Placid area. Have been 2 times, but never in winter. What were those falls at the beginning of the post?

    Happen to be these?

Beautiful area! I miss it now that im looking back at pictures

haha what's funny is I could design and build a trailer from the ground up! My companies fab shop builds trailers, on top of emergency vehicles. I've designed a number of trailers already!

how come? I haven't even gotten to use mine just yet, we got rained out the last camping trip date :(

they have their limitations, not very good in wind and they take up space and weight for what they are.

but you got yours for free tho, just keep it and mount on a trailer lol

haha one day! and yeah i don't like that my COG is raised a bunch. and I can see the gas mileage difference from wind drag.

I have a few ideas in the works, I really like @NYCO 's setup. That's the end goal after i make a few other things first

I would assume the front portion of the flares might be slightly different since the headlight config is different angled. Keep in mind too that a 2005-2011 hood will not even come close to fitting on a 2012-2015.

Maybe a bit off topic, but how do you like her Crosstrek? Been thinking about getting one for the wife, but can't decide if it's too small/lame.

We just drove it on a roadtrip from pa to Lake Placid and I loved every second of it. I averaged 35 mpg, it was extremely smooth and very quiet. It's not as peppy as my forester, but it is 1000 times more refined. apple car play is super nice, and I love changing the oil on that thing since the oil filter runoff drains to the pan. 10/10 wouldn't hesitate to buy one again

    Nice pics!

All I can think of after you posting though is the fact that your front bumper is eating your fenders like nom nom nom. I'd get that fixed sooner rather than later otherwise the fender will start rusting out and buckling.
