About to pull the trigger on some new katzkins and was just curious as to how they hold up over time? 5-10 years.. i know they look great to start with but just wanted some feedback on long term wear.

Better off posting in the general forums instead of detailing forum. Probably post up in 2nd gen.

They hold up great when they are cared for properly.

Leather needs to stay out of the heat which means its garaged a majority of the time or you have a nice quality heat and UV rejection tint. It keeps the heat and radiation off the leather.

Leather needs to be cleaned and conditioned at least twice per year. If its not then it will turn from soft and plush to hard and rigid which will lead to cracking.

I highly recommend getting window tint and getting really high quality leather products NOT cheap Armor All or Turtle Wax junk at Walmart.

I also recommend looking at Clazzios. I have a set and LOVE them. Much cheaper and honestly no on willbe able to tell its not the actual seat.
