I’ve made several sliders, bumpers and various other accessories. I’m not saying it can’t be done but unless you have experience it will be a PITA. If you can swing it get jd2 bendtech software

Got my 295’s mounted, did some junk yard pulls for two ‘12 radio surrounds, and hauled the boat to the ramp.

Good advice; I had to replace all of my pop fasteners as they were all too brittle (12 year old factory originals) with new ones from Amazon except for the two included in the kit. So far so good; but I will definitely trim it up if it becomes a problem.

I was trying to install a Clean USB charger today, but I have a novice wiring question. I was using a tap a circuit on the 15A fuse to cigarette lighters, but the LEDs on the charger stayed on even with the key out. I don't want it drawing power all the time. I thought about using the fuse that powers the stock charger. It is 7.5A and runs some other things, will I run the risk of tripping it if I add the dual 2.1A charger to it? There is also blank fuse slot probably to some accessory I don't have which has power, can I add the tap there? Thanks!

Very basic and cheep way to figure this out:
Go to Harbor Freight or order this from Amazon if you dont already have one https://www.amazon.com/Voltage-Cont...id=1550148623&sr=8-14&keywords=circuit+tester

Ground the wire coming off the end and start pulling fuses and connecting the tip in the circuit. Make sure the truck is off, if you hit any that light up the handle while the truck is off then those circuits are always powered. If you hit one that doesn't light up try flipping your key to the on but not start position if it lights up then you have a "switched" power source. These circuits only power on when the truck is on. They have a relay built in somewhere that controls the power on. These can be tapped for powering things when the truck is on only. they will not power when the truck is off.

I have 2 that I have tapped in the are to the left of the steering wheel that are switched and were matching to the circuit I wanted to tap.
If you want to get a bit more advanced and learn a bunch about powering multiple accessories correctly look through this thread. It is all about auxiliary fuse panels so that you can permanently hardwire accessories without frying the trucks components.

The spacer lifts are fine but i would definitely not stack them.

SEMAs and 255/80R17 Toyo Open Country AT2s installed yesterday. WAY skinnier than the exact same size Cooper ST Maxx. Also much lighter weight and super smooth on highway. Did well (but not amazing) in peanut butter consistency mud, as expected for an AT.

Thanks for the quick reply. I know which fuses are switched. The 12V cigarette outlet isn't, and the accessory and spare slot are. I was concerned about adding a 2x2.1A to the accessory which is only on a 7.5A fuse originally or tapping into the spare slot when I don't know it is for. I see lots of people adding the USB charges, so I am hoping for feedback on which one they tapped. The link to the dual USB mod in the 2nd gen How-tos is broken.

Truck went through a ditch and I came back through the ditch. The spacer lifts stripped off the truck and sent the cab to role over the right side of the truck causing the truck to role. 45mph. ditch was about 2.5 ft deep
