How are you liking the box? I picked one up a month ago and haven’t got around to filling it with my tools from my current smaller box.

It’s a standard used in industry. We use it where I work. When I seen the tool box labeled it reminded me of it. 4B92DCDB-DB8E-4D8D-88F2-4F7E8E0B644E.jpg

Loving it so far. Really easy to find my stuff, no complaints.

Ah gotcha! Never heard of that. I am just a weekend warrior who likes digging into projects to save money. I also like to stay organized if I can, I like clean work areas for sure.

    Awesome set up.
May I ask, what are the dimensions for your building?
    Thanks for posting!

It's been awhile since I've had a place to get things done and I'm very excited to start this project. New work bench in the garage today! I have a vise on the way and the group and I have a spring compressor coming too! I even got a drill press and hydraulic press that I'll be bringing home tomorrow.

Still have a lot to get done and need to basically start from scratch with hand tools but at least I know have my own dedicated area. :yay:IMG_0350.jpg

planning out house additions. trying to push for a 20x24 garage to build (current one is 17x20 with asphalt :frusty:). not huge by any means but it will allow work space without moving stuff around all the time

haha, it wont quite fit with the house if i go much bigger. if im lucky ill get to keep the existing one in the back. i really just want a bay for motorcycles (we have 3) and then a bay to park/work on a car if itll take more than a day otherwise itll be work space. 35ft of flat driveway will give me plenty of outdoor space too.

    Looks nice!!!
I see what you mean about the space.

Throw an exterior door in the back of the garage for easier access to your back yard, beer fridge/barbecue supplies (that will go in the back of the garage!!!)

a heated garage would definitely be nice for the winter. trying to be mindful of future buyers since who knows what will happen. im thinking the current drawn size would allow enough room for tundra sized truck on either side of the garage (the deeper would have walk around room though). due to city code i cant bring the front any closer than the porch to the street to make it deeper and i dont want to cut into the house spacing at that point.

the short side is 20ft deep since that dimension isnt on there
oh we leave that stuff outside, ha. but i could put my truck fridge in the garage for beer!
yeah i could. the floor of the house currently is up ~3ft from the ground with a total of 12ft to the roofline so im thinking ill have a 12ft interior flat ceiling height (unless i use the peak of the roof to add a storage loft?). enough room for any lift, i like the idea of a 2 post for cars but im not sure if itd be more of a nuisance in the way when its not being used
