We selected the tactrix openport (and our own version of it that Tactrix has designed for us) for multiple reasons.
Sure, other J2534 cables will technically work.
However, they will not work with our datalogging utility, or any of the future development software we create.
To ensure there is no incompatibility issues, we recommend only our cable, designed by Tactrix. Or a tactrix itself.
