Yes. That was it. But is was done before the letter and paid for by the extended warranty. So I'm not sure what the outcome would have been with the letter and no warranty.

@Stanky taco do you know the date of first use/production of your truck? Is it a late 2012 production sold as a 2013? My truck was produced in 9/2005, and date of first use is 11/2005, but it's a 2006 model... You might be able to argue a replacement under extended warranty program with corporate if it was produced in 2012. :notsure:

Yeah but if it was manufactured in 2012, it would lead to believe it was produced with the same faulty parts as the previous model year, but vin'd for 2013. It's hard to argue with corporate when they only know what's in front of them. The last corporate person I talked to was baffeled that my truck was produced in 2005, but the VIN shows it's a 2006. After some explaining and a beer/15min conversation she finally understood that a 2006 isn't manufactured on January 1st 2006. I was |-| this close to asking for her supervisor, and getting up to grab another beer.

@Stanky taco do you have this mess of shit on the passenger side valve cover on your truck? Probably hidden under your intake?

I'll never see a set of $300 boots again. Cooper even told me himself. Erikas raising him to be privileged so down the road he's not considered the "poor kid". :ohsnap:

Fuckers already got North Face this and that. She let's him play with her old cell phone. It doesn't even turn on, but he likes to hold it. :argue:

I swear he's gonna end up part of the PatagucciOverland. :boink:
At least it's still technically a Toyota.

I haven’t owned a “expensive” set of boots since i lived in AK, the saltwater killed the super rainforests i had . I bought a pair of quarry’s after dealing with miserably wet/cold feet. My work offers a boot allowance so they really only cost $140 out of pocket.

So it's one of those valves, I'm trying to figure out which one deals with what bank. Check your connections/plugs, maybe unplug and look for corrosion or rust, and reconnect. Maybe trace the hoses from each switching valve, they should run to an exhaust manifold. One for driver's side, one for passenger side.

Ugh, I'll never buy another set of danners again. I've had the quarry originals, and the 2.0, also the plain Jane steel toe/goretex danners. All leak and the eyelets eat laces like Rosie odonnel at a hostess cupcake party. My Georgia boots have lasted 2x as long as any danner I've had, and still on the original laces too, but I'm due for a new pair or at least get them resoled. you ever dealt with the boot guy off of Preston fall city road? I've always seen his sign, but never heard anything about him.

My brothers had his boots resoled by that guy a few years back, don’t remember what it cost but he’s still wearing them so he does good work.

Ever worn/bought whites? I think @JimSnell has a pair. Damn things almost go up to his thighs... Maybe that was when I saw him down on the corner of river Rd in Puyallup..... :anonymous:

Yeah that sign looks like it's 20yrs old, and I've driven by it a million times. His front yard looks more like a wrecking yard, and he has a 2 post lift in a carport. A carport.... o_O

Or it could just be my depth perception and it's actually just out in the open.

It’s out in the open...sometimes. There’s also a lift out in the open past tolt hill road on the right side heading towards Redmond. Never understood why you’d do that.

Haven't seen that one. A guy would have to spray it down with oil weekly to keep it from rusting.
