Just curious, where do you guys camp for this? I seen a few camp grounds. Does anyone BLM camp?

Hard to believe that an event can sell out in 22 seconds

The FJC/Broverland circle jerk is outrageous. No other way to explain paying to run free trails with way too large of groups.

Anyone can show up, walk through the vendor area and hit the same trails, you will of course, have to feed yourself. Its a cool area, my advice is basically go any other week from July til the end of September.

Agreed. I accidentally ended up doing Black Bear Pass that weekend a couple of years ago and the second half of the trail took me almost 3 hours to complete with all the spotters, photographers, bad drivers, never ending lines of trucks taking forever. If you have large decals on your truck, every turn and obstacle turns into a photo shoot it seems. The week before I did black bear and imogene in 3 hours on a dual sport bike.

Was planning going with a group (Tundra, Tacoma, 4runner and 2 jeeps) late June. I'm heard the heavy snow now is going to close a lot of the trails. You think rescheduling July 21-27 gives it time to melt? Driving from Houston so would hate to make the long drive not to be able to off road. Anyone in the local area with updates?

That is what I am afraid of... @Toynado, myself and a couple others will be there but hope its not too bad. We will at least get some less crowded time in AZ and UT on the way out there.

You've got basically zero chance in June. Late July will be much more likely, if you're on facebook follow Ouray County Road and Bridge for updates.
