About to move back into the Baton Rouge area later this month. Not that it changes how dead this thread is...

Time to bring it back to life. I just rejoined the Toyota truck ranks after ten years, living on the Northshore.

Rise n shine thread. Y’all should of came out to Toyota jamboree this year. Just got home from it, made the 6 hour trip from br to it. First time taking my truck off road so felt good, no damage but some scratches but factory skids didn’t come out so lucky. Upgrade time

Where, when, and what was the Toyota Jamboree? I spent last weekend up in Arkansas at a Project Appleseed event.

It was this past weekend. Got out there Thursday-Sunday In Gilmer Texas. It was my first year, but it’s held seems like first weekend in May each year. Was really a great time, and after going now I know what to expect and to bring so I’ll be ready for next. What’s project Appleseed?

Events are held around the country year round. They teach Revolutionary period American History and classical rifle marksmanship. I’ve been shooting for two and a half decades and I found more to learn and take away. I talked about my experiences on my podcast last week.

Absolutely worth the trip, there are quite a few LA types from the TLCA groups in NOLA and Lafayette

If you like to meet some local Toyota types check out http://www.bslca.com/ Most of them are a bit more involved than the Facebook Cajun Yotas crowd.
