I just know what I’m looking for and try to give him as much business as I can! He threw this in free when I bought filets for the wife’s birthday

Edit: it’s only 1 pound, a leftover from someone else’s roast

Ran out of time because I picked up some work this morning, so I tried the instapot for this one. It’s ok as far as texture goes, but I really want to try it in my BRAND. NEW. CROCKPOT. that I got for Valentines Day :D

The flavor was phenomenal. 13/10 will write up this recipe when I get pics!

I had a bone in rib eye that needed to be cooked but it's raining so I decided to throw it in the instant pot we just bought. I added a little bit of water, steakhouse mix, all spice, Jocko's mix (salt, pepper, garlic fine ground) and set to Meat Stew.

When it finished I cut out the fat then cut the meat into chunks then added carrots, potatoes and cabbage. I added about 5 cups of water and a good amount of black pepper. I set it to meat/stew again and let it run for 15 minutes. The I stopped it and pulled out my dinner. It was perfect. The meat was fall apart tender, the carrots were crisp enough but soft. same with the potato and cabbage. My wife loves the instant pot, now I do as well.

we've used our instapot for a few meals now. I love how it cooks jasmine rice. We did some chicken breasts for cheesy chicken noodle soup yesterday.

Time for an instant pot! I've used mine 3 times in slow cooker mode. I couldn't tell any difference from a crock pot.

I have some big pieces of pork loin in my freezer. I would like to cook them in the instant pot. I haven't found any recipes, any suggestions?

What are you wanting them to come out like?

I’ve never been a big fan of how large meats come out in the IP. They come out dry, anemic, and overcooked.

It always comes out better roasted.

It would be good if you plan on using it for shredded meat for a soup or stew or as part of another meal.
