Nice!!! How many Toyotas do you have?

I was sneakily asking for a pic of what was on the other side from the day she came home.

How short are these short beds? I know the measurements, I'm just wondering how useable they are. Trying to decide between a long bed auto vs short bed manual. Would you get a long bed if you could?

These trucks already have a terrible turning radius, and the fact that as far as I know the DCLB are all autos, those were deciding factors for me.

I’ve always driven manuals, and only ever owned regular cabs. I miss my first gen reg. cab, but it was no longer practical for the direction life is headed.

Why's the turning radius so bad? Our 4th gen runner turns on a dime. I imagine the dcsb is pretty close to the same. How do you like the 6 speed?

I just assumed it was the geometry and overall length. Just feels like it sucks to pull a u-turn. Then again, I came from regular cab Toyotas so maybe my feelings are skewed?

I love the 6MT. But then again I’ve always driven manuals, so this is no different.

The clutch feel really sucks, but that’s an easy fix. (Remove accumulator)

The clutch accumulator plus slow electronic throttle body drives me crazy. Both on my list to fix.

I too have a DCSB in manual and it's a fun truck to drive. I like the 6 speed! As far as bed size goes, LB vs SB, I prefer the SB over the LB. The space may be a little bit smaller but it is what it is. I think SB looks better than LB but thats just my opinion, what do I know? lol

I also have a DCSB 6spd. Sometimes I wish I had a long bed. But that’s only when I have stuff in the back. But for the most part I am happy with the short bed and wouldn’t change it out.
