Big Bend National Park 5/15-5/17

West Texas Yotas, a Midland based overlanding club, will be camping and hitting the trails of Big Bend National Park from March 15-17 2019. Message me to meet in Midland at 5:45 pm or meet at Panther Junction Ranger Station at 10 pm on Friday March 15th.

Come on now there's plenty of weekends to swap

 

Clearly not your first time out there but you do realize that unless you have a reserved camp spot you won't be able to get a permit that late and primitive spots are first-come, first-served only.

 

Yep thats why I'm going there the day before. The spot is remote, never seen anyone camp there and there are backups if that spot is taken.

 

Fingers crossed it's not busy for spring break.

 

It's one of the most remote locations in the park. Spring breakers in their Subarus cant get close

 

We are heading to coast that weekend but would love info on midland overlander club-- live in Wink and would like to try to catch another trip

Never too soon! Only one of our trails is in Big Bend. Top secret trail is very close though.
