It friggin works. Just got done playing around in my icy driveway. Everything functions 100% as expected. This is going to be awesome! I was able to back into my driveway (a decent bump and hill) at idle. Zero throttle input at all, not even to let the clutch out.

 

VERY MUCH liking this!!! Can't wait for them to be ready. Venmo or PayPal ready and waiting

Nice isnt it... of course I have been telling people for like 11 months... thanks for working on p n p.

 

Fuck yeah, it's more than just nice. This is going to make backing my trailer up so much easier.

As for pricing, I will get wire lengths figured out tomorrow and when I get back into the office next week sometime I will see about build pricing. Once that is finalized I will be putting up a for sale thread and collect deposits from the first round of 20. The deposit will be $50.

 

I will send you a deposit as soon as you are ready. I'm sure these will go fast and I would like to be on the first round.

Maybe also create a short vid of the process so people can get a real world example of how to use the system. I know I really like vids like that. Always seems to help.

 

Yeah, the pdf @BigWhiteTRD did is good for the install process. The only other thing is how to access the switch locations and that info is available on TW here i'm sure. I was able to pop the blank out of my center console with a plastic tool and feed the wire over to the glove box with no issues. The location left of the steering wheel may be a bit more difficult. The installation of the harness is going to be a short video. it's literally unplug the two stock connectors and plug them into the harness. Then plug the new connectors into the 4x4 ecu. Zip tie or tape the relay somewhere so it doesn't rattle around and put everything back together.

The pdf is really pretty comprehensive for install I think (aka too lazy to do a video of that.)

Tomorrow I will try to do a video of using it on my Automatic.. (if I dont get it tomorrow I I dont know if I will get to it...)

I'll add you to the list if you would like. As of right now ballpark price is $150 - $200 (switch included). I realize that sounds like a lot, but there are about 60 wires to cut and strip, 100+ crimps, and 14 solder joints to be made, so quite a bit of labor cost.

 

On the plus side, everything is cut to length.
