Not sure you are understanding what I'm looking for. Bed rail track off a newer Taco wouldn't be helpful in this case and I doubt I'd find anything on ebay or Craigslist that doesn't come with a tent.

I'll just make something that will work.

Your right I miss read it. I thought you were looking for the track, not the part that goes into the track. You problem can make something out of aluminum flatbar. If you make something, post pictures.

So that’s the rci longbed rack? What cvt tent are you running, exactly? It looks substantial. Does the rear sag much when you load that onto your bed? Are you on stock suspension? I’m looking at the rci short bed rack and just trying to visualize what the set up will be like before I pull the trigger. Also trying to keep weight down so my med Dakar’s can hold it all up. Rci rack looks epic but kb voodoo is half the weight

Yes indeed that’s the longbed rack. I’m running a Mt Rainier extended rtt and the combo works really well. Love having the extra space. There isn’t too much rear sag to be honest and all I’ve done is change out to 5100 Bilsteins. Definitely more planned for the future, but that’s all for the time being considering I’m able to get the tent setup off of the truck when not in use.

I’ve included a pic with it on the truck for reference. Tent sits slightly to the rear just to give me some clearance at the front of the bed. It looks more exaggerated in the pic than it actually is.1178AA72-6865-4CB6-BAC7-679BAD741493.jpg

Almost ready for bedliner spraying to match the truck. Can't wait to get this tent and the Shadow awning installed in the next few days and test it out.

Just a bunch of old crap
It got shipped to my paint guy and sat there for a couple weeks while he finished up some show cars. It's kind of been in hiding but I was at the shop delivering the awning brackets today and they had it all prepped so I snapped some pics.

Alu-Cab Expedition Gen III with quilted lid liner and 12v lighting option. Shadow Awning not pictured but it's sitting in my garage. I'll post pics next week when it's all mounted up and dialed in.

I am far from a good enough engineer to even attempt building one of these. I left it to the pros.

Thanks! Work in progress. I’ve only had it for a few months, but I’m happy with the setup so far.

I like your style. Mt.Rainier FTW! I'm waiting for Spring to put it on my 2019 Tundra, since I sold my Tacoma.

It’s going to be a tight fit, especially if your dog sprawls out (like mine does). I’m looking into a kennel or bed for my dog to use in the bed of the truck.

Thanks for the reply, been searching for a used RTT for about month. And an Ayer 2 pop up at a good price point near me. Knew it was small but thought I’d see what others thought

Did that fit on your truck while driving out at that height?

Wait for a Kukenam. I had a Kukenam and for the wife and I was perfect. I have the CVT equivalent now and eventually I’m sure I’ll upgrade to the bigger one after the family grows.
