Alright, looking for opinions I whether I should be concerned, or try to push hard on an issue with the leaf springs the dealer has installed during my frame swap (nearly complete).

As short as I can describe it:
My truck had the tsb for leaf springs done ages ago (2010 or so): t-sb-0359-10.

    That installed:
    48220-04210-e lh
    48210-04570-e rh

The three leaf, plus overload spring that most called the "4 leaf pack" then.

During the frame swap (nearly complete) the dealer installed these new springs via the recall e02:
    48210-04650
    48220-04290

These are 3+1 springs, like the tsb springs, but the recall technical bulletin says if the tsb was done I should get these:
    48210-04660
    48220-04300

I'm concerned that though the springs they installed are 3+1 that they will have a lower spring rate than the springs they should have.

The dealer mech basically says "you got what the computer says you get" and they refuse to acknowledge there could be any kind of issue.

All the springs are frankly garbage anyway, and I think I might be going other that Toyota in the relatively near future. However, I'd like to have the least garbage springs I can get from them in the meantime.

Opinions on whether I should push this... or just enjoy the new frame and fresh springs?

Wow! Never mind. I got a text about an hour after I left the dealer this morning that they had ordered the other springs and they'd be here in about a week!

I guess they are learning I can be a bit of an ogre and very persistent when I feel they aren't doing things to my satisfaction, and it's a lot easier to just give me what I'm asking for if it doesn't cost them anything. Or maybe they know something I don't and the springs I asked for actually suck. Guess I'll find out.

Back to talking about oil, tires, and frame rust.
