6" Fabtech with BDS/Fox rollovers and shocks, stretched YAKIMA load warrior rack, custom hybrid winch bumper, Rigid lights, onboard air.
    New here, Hello All!
I need some advice from anyone with coilover experience.
I bought my 05 Dbl short box used with a 6" Fabtech lift, after a couple years I noticed the seals were leaking, I tried to take them apart to rebuild the, when I noticed that someone had not backed out the Allen screw on the adjuster and turned the adjuster numerous times stripping the threads on the coilover body.
So instead of dealing with this issue, I bought new Fox 2.5 Coilovers with resivoirs from BDS.
When I got them they were supposed to be charged (which they were)And preset to proper preload for my truck.
I knew most likely I would have to adjust them slightly but after I put them on they weren't anywhere close to right. Initially I set the preload and had like 2.5" of thread on drivers side and close to 3" on passenger side.
Ran that for a few months to settle them in.
They settled a half inch or more, I adjusted them again and now the driver side is 3 3/4" pass side 3.5".
    The springs look really compressed.
I built a hybrid front winch bumper and put it on(no winch yet) and it didn't affect the ride height, bumper prolly weighs roughly 110 pounds.
Question, should I get new springs?
    I have 16"x3"x600lbs.
Should I get 700lbs springs or 18" 600lbs springs? I will be getting a winch soon.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Get new springs, and NOT Eibach! Fox uses Eibach. If you plan to add a winch, I would step up to 650# springs, but the rating is not your problem. A top quality 600 spring would not do what you describe. The problem is that the springs are no good. They will just keep sinking. Eibach used to make a quality product, but in the last few years their quality control has hit bottom. It could just be the springs they supply to Fox and other shock builders like Toytec. I don't know. A lot of Eibach springs are made in China now. The springs that Eibach used to supply to FOX said "Eibach" on the spring, with an Eibach number. Now they have a Fox number, and no Eibach branding. I have an old set of 600lb springs that are branded Eibach, and they were great with an ARB bumper with minimal preload. This is one reason I will not buy Fox again. The other reason is that they will not acknowledge the problem or rectify it in any reasonable way. Best bet is to look at the Marketplace here and pick up a set of used Icon or King springs.

I have had extensive conversations with Fox and Eibach about this. Like talking to a brick wall. I finally gave up and fixed the problem at my expense, but it will be the last money they get of mine.

Thanks for the welcome, sorry for the multiple pictures, I hit something more than once.
So I should get king or icon in a 650lb same length plus additional preload collar.

New Problem I was able to finally diagnose after a 1200 miles with new King springs, There is a pop or clunk sound which I never could narrow down till now.
Problem is my driver side tie rod is contacting my Coldspring when my suspension cycles, I couldn't see where it rubbed before with the Silver Eibach springs that were previously on the fox/Bds coilovers.
Driver side has maybe an 1/8" clearance, Passenger side has roughly 1/2" clearance.
Passenger side shows no sign of rubbing just driver side. Any help or suggestions to remedy this problem??? Thanks.

Oh, pictures above show where tie-rod is contacting spring, I'll upload more pictures as soon as I can.

I got those rings you suggested when I got new springs, only problem is the shock body isn't threaded all the way down, so to install them would require, draining oil, bleeding nitrogen and removing remote resi line and unscrewing/removing top of shock.

    A thing or two...
The tie rod rubbing sounds like an alignment issue. When was you last alignment and what were the specs? Is your lower ball joint good? If the alignment specs are the same side to side, you may have a bent spindle.

Lower ball joint are still good, I'm headed for an alignment in a few hours, I suspected that that might be what's going on.
I have TC Uca's with the heim joints instead of poly bushings, which is what
Total Chaos recommended for 6" drop bracket lifts.
They have only been adjusted slightly out (both on each side equally) which I did on request by an alignment shop I used a few years ago or it would cost me more money and time for the shop to do it.
