It's literally so dry too, haha. I go through a can every 3 months.

    I bought these ones

Daystar, Jeep TJ Wrangler Bolt-in extended polyurethane bump stop for front or rear, fits 1997 to 2006 2/4WD, KU09037BK, Made in America https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004IARR9U/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_IqVBCbFZ0E8EZ

I’ll drill one hole and mount them upside down on the frame. I’ll use the u bolt flip plate as the striking pad.

I'm interested but I think I promised @Chase8059 that I would help him put sliders on this weekend.

    A thing or two...
So far so good. Haven't been offroad since I installed it, though, so only time will tell how the TrueTrac will handle off pavement. If I'm making a tight turn from a stop and step on it (aka turning onto the highway), it will chirp the tires, and I can light them up taking a u-turn. I can't see the tires obviously, so I don't know if it's spinning both wheels as I would think it should.

My locker is the same way. I have to be mindful to not accelerate too fast around a tight turn or I’ll chirp.

Nah, I'm down for Saturday, just don't want my truck to be a trailer like last time. Should be fine in mud. The ice however.....

It does fine. I just don't whip it around like fast and furious and no chirping or binding or anything. I'm a manual though so try and pop it in N and coast around the real tight stuff. But if I don't it's not the end of the world. The locker might just emit a resounding "pop" which is normal.

I need to take a ride with you sometime soon. A 300$ locker sounds alot better than an 800$ ARB, especially since they've apparently had some QC issues lately

You should be alright. According to TWC, it dosnt look like it'll get below freezing over the next couple days.

I concur. Much much simpler and I like the fact I don't need to think about it while wheeling either. I'm just locked all the time, simple as that. Don't need to let my ego get in the way on obstacles and attempt stuff unlocked first, only to fail.

Yeah, the flip side is you get farther from the pavement before the first stuck :) .Kinda like driving around in 4wd all the time.

I sounds my wheels on the pavement enough when it's wet that a locker would be nice there too

As soon as I leave pavement I toss it in 4LO (except for recently, so I can do go fast stuff). The low gearing in a manual is key to saving my clutch. Thats where 4LO PRO came from haha

I quit 4 years ago after I was found with precancerous shit in my mouth. I chewed at least a can a day for 10 years. The doc basically said, quit now or lose your part of your jaw down the road. I don't know how true that statement was, but it definitely convinced me to quit. It was way harder than quitting cigarettes, which I kicked about 6 years ago. Still get cravings for both, I don't think those will ever go away.
