Redline Tuning Hood Struts

The Red Lines are awesome on the 3rd Gen and as everyone say use a good long handled rivet gun and as for opening hood more not much Mine is like an half inch more than it was on the rod.

Should have gotten black but oh well. Truck should have come like this.

 

Looking for a photo with the Volant CAI and scoop. I run that in mine and haven’t pulled the trigger on these yet because I didn’t think it would fit

 

I have TRD intake, sorry can’t help

If you’re not willing to cut it a bit, or work something out for slightly relocating the box, I wouldn’t pull the trigger.



If you’re able to bolt the box down about 1-1.5” inwards towards the engine, I think it’d clear fine.

My mounting looks a bit different because I no longer have oem fender wells or core support, but it did need the trimming when I did have it all.

Also, for the record, only driver side strut does not hold up the hood.

I knew there was something I was forgetting. Now I have Dsim rock light setup and the redline struts to do tomorrow.
