Quality > how much lift you get. Funny when I was on Kauai following 6”+ lifted trucks down a dirt road and feeling sorry for their backs while I’m cruising down that road at 25 in comfort. One word of advice though, buy what you want the first time. I’ve been through 2 suspensions on my third now. Much like everyone else would recommend Jason for installs. Reasonable pricing and a stand up guy.

Are you set on a DB lift? RCD makes a great lift that rides like stock or better. The only downside is that it’s not a 6” lift but a lift that is 4-5”.

It’s also cheaper than a stage 2 6” DB lift like fabtech or ProComp.

I’m not sure if Jason does DB lifts but I would also recommend him as well.

if your just looking for some bigger and wider MT's you could go with a 3 inch lift. have quite the decent setup for easily half that of a 6" DB with wheels and tires

Just to give you an option that doesn’t break the 8 to 10k bank you referenced. Only issue is that if this uses a strut spacer to lift the front, the ride will be worse than stock.

You could go the cheap route with bilstein 5100s but id recommend getting King 2.5s with the adjuster. Kings are so comfortable on the road and youll have the adjusters to set the suspension how you want it.

You should take a ride in some lifted trucks and see how you like it. From my experience both the trucks I had in the past - the ride quality got worse from the lift and if you are doing it to put on some oversized OR tires it's gonna be loud. Just a thought before you sink 8-10k into your truck

know a guy with a 2016 w a bds/fox 6 inch and i swear when he first lifted it that thing rode better then stock. 3500 for the kit definitely seems reasonable for the ride it had.
