3rd gen TRD Sport front struts with springs SoCal

    Took these off my 2018 with less than 3k on the truck. Never off road. Posting here because I was told these are more desirable for 2nd gen trucks. $100.

    Just an FYI... these are not coilovers. Coilovers are adjustable. This is just your stock struts and springs.

    Yup. In the picture below you will notice threads on the shaft of the strut, and then there is a small flat plate that spins around the strut to adjust the rebound rate. This allows you to set it as soft/stiff as you prefer.

    If we're supplying an education here, it's not rebound you adjust with the spring collar but spring preload and ride height :thumbsup:

    I don't think this is true. A coilover is just a coil spring, over a shock absorber.

    Wikipedia is in no way a bulletproof resource, but I think they got it right on this one.
