BACK ON THE ROAD!!! Took 2 hours total, 1 hour solo and 1 hour with a friend who brought all the good tools.

Should add about a quart of water came out of the tcase haha.

Here is me claiming my victory!

Not at all, just some of the tcase to transmission bolts required some long extensions to reach. Total spent was $300. Stoked as hell.

I’m said owner of the 4Runner. I promise it’s needed. It’s used primarily as a prerunner and chase vehicle for the score series races in Mexico. I’m not at all easy on it and the dead suspension is the true weak point on my car. With all the weight out back The rear 2.5s I have currently have installed get so hot they fade after a few miles in the rough and it ends up just bucking and bouncing like you wouldn’t believe.

Do 4.88's. U say you wanna do 37's, do preventative payments of sending your diffs back and paying extra cash to get them redone when you can do it now. #poorcollegekids

Our trucks are different from third to second gen. Most people with 35’s on the third gen run 5.29’s from what I’ve seen.

I’m considering it. Maybe if @desertjunkie760 would get his 35’s on so I can hear his thoughts on how it feels :boink:

Give me yours and I’ll tell you my thoughts in no time!
#poorcollege kids shouldn’t be putting 37”s on their 3rd gens... :burp:

37s are a fast track way to break a CV axle or worse every trip if you actually wheel and make for a horrible daily for mall crawlers.

But we’ll look cool in the college parking lot hahahahahaha.

That’s just the truth. If we had a solid front axle though...

That’s valid. But high-speed desert driving is so fun!

    Bunch of stuff
Bruh I have 35’s and 4.88’s and similar setup weight wise. You should come drive my truck and tell me what you think. I think 4.88’s with all the weight but also if you have a larger commute you’ll keep your RPMs down a little with 4.56. Most people on 35’s with 4.56 that I’ve talked to have told me they wish they would have gone 4.88’s but I think you’ll be happy either way
